+103 Americans should be more afraid of a Fascist regime than a Socialist one, amirite?

Well one thing can well lead to another...

Except that a "socialist regime" is much closer to being a reality at this point.

Not really. America is still as a whole, right of the political spectrum. That would make a fascist regime more closer, even though that is still far away. ... And no, Obama isn't a socialist. Unless you're one of those idiots who pay attention to just Universal Health Care on the news and not the hundreds of bills Obama has signed on the side in favour of the Republicans and go "Omg Obama = Radical Democrat = Socialist". He's a centrist. If you paid attention to the things he's doing instead what you can see on the news for 30 secs, you might know that. And even if Obama is such a radical lefty that the only thing he's done is create a health care bill and is throwing us to the left, Health Care for the most part hasn't started yet. Which would mean we're still slightly on the right. You want to see a true socialist? A true lefty that you always seem to complain about? Search up Dennis Kucinich. Otherwise, stitch up your bleeding heart. For such an "open-minded" person, you sure are ill-informed.

Yes, obviously. Most people are brainwashed to think socialism and fascism are equivalents.
