+654 Sometimes you actually like the book that you were assigned to read, and you feel like a weirdo when everyone else says that they hated it, amirite?

It more happens with biology labs, but all my friends complain about how much they hated everything, and I can't say "It was fun!" without them calling me a nerd (which is saying something, since I go to a magnet school) and telling me to stop being so smart (which I'm not) >.<

It's kind of a messed up book, but I really enjoyed reading Montana 1948

To Kill a Mockingbird. I loved it, everybody else says it's boring as shit.

The Poisonwood Bible. I adored it, but my class hated it.

We read "Of mice and men", it was actually a really boring book. Nothing happened. And it had like 30 pages of just "about the author". Before every chapter it had what the chapter was going to be about and what was going to happen because it was the educational version.

I was one of the only people in my entire grade who actually liked The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds. It was GREAT, but it was still enjoyable.
