+183 You can't stand it when cars leave a lot of space between their car and the car in front of them, amirite?

you're supposed to do that so you have space to stop suddenly

I mean when you're stopping at a light and a person leaves a TON of space when they can pull up more

I do it for safety reasons. If I get slammed from behind hello I don't want to mash up against the car in front of me. Also, if the guy in front of me smashes into the car in front of him off the get-go, I still have room to pull around the guy without having to back up.

In other words, you can't stand when people are obeying laws and trying to be safe, amirite?

You're supposed to leave a lot of space in case you get rear ended. If you get rear-ended and you stopped really close to the guy in front of you and his car gets mashed up, you're at fault.

The rule is to make sure you can see the tires of the car in front of you touch the ground. I agree some people leave WAY too much space, but it doesn't bother me as much as someone up on my ass when stopped at a red light.
