+430 It's annoying when a song is released featuring someone else, and the featured singer just sings faintly in the background, or just one line in the entire song, amirite?

That's exactly what Taylor Swift does in "Half of My Heart" by John Mayer

Or the opposite when it's Timbaland feat. One Republic, and Timbaland just says "yeah" in the background.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yah I really didn't understand that...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's Timbaland featuring OneRepublic? I thought it was OneRepublic featuring Timbaland's sex noises...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YES. WTF IS WITH THAT???

by Anonymous 13 years ago

maybe the featured person wrote all the background music though so it's nice that they are getting some of the credit for the song

I thought of the Counting Crows feat. Vannessa Carlton song Big Yellow Taxi. I think she plays piano for it, but other than that she has about two lines, which are both back up vocals.

I was thinking Diddy's "Coming Home" featuring Skylar Grey, then B.o.B's "Airplanes" featuring Hayley Williams, then B.o.B again with "Magic" featuring River Cuomo, then B.o.B once more with "Nothing on You" featuing Bruno Mars... B.o.B sure does come up alot...

I also think it's annoying when the featured person just says/sings the same thing over and over again the entire song.
