+132 It's hard to imagine how people in the 80's beat video games like Zelda or Swordquest without getting help off of the internet, amirite?

Or 90's even, was playing Final Fantasy 8 and that game's first few hours is designed to weed out the weak from the strong.

The fun of those games is the strategy, and you're really missing it out on it by just going step by step through a walkthrough. All that shows it you can follow mundane tasks and have slight reading comprehension, congrats, you can pass the third grade. Why get a strategy game if the internet is just going to do it for you? Just watch the full walkthrough on youtube, it'll be the same thing for you.

I've beaten Zelda without using a walk-through.

Zelda was hard as shit, you had no idea where to go.

I never use walkthroughs, I hate cheating. Well, I consider it cheating.

nobody in the 80's beat zelda without word of mouth if anybody claims to they are lying......we didn't need a guide or the internet though and countless hours were spent finding dungeons
