I don't wash a measuring cup if all it was used to measure was water. I may give it a quick rinse under the tap, because it may have flour or something on the outside, but I generally just dry it and put it back in the cupboard.

No, I think that all times. If water had been dirty, washing it with water wouldn't change anything. Who ever does this?

Or ice cream scoops if all you do is scoop ice cream.. Like I'll rinse it with water, then dry it, but no soap
