+463 When you were a little kid, the thought of being kidnapped didn't scare you much, but now that you realize the possibility of being brutally and gruesomely tortured/raped/beaten, it's a very scary thought, amirite?

I used to sleep with a bat under my pillow when I was 5 because I was scared of being kidnapped.

I had a dream of being kidnapped last night. Then I woke up and I was happy.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

especially when you put it that way..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

it scares me not so much for myself, but for my little sister.

I was always afraid of being kidnapped as a little kid. D:

WHY would anyone vote no way to this?!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I voted no way because i was terrified when i was younger. obviously it still scares me though

by Anonymous 13 years ago

you didn't know about rape and mutilation though..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

true...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@1163847 (mchristie): i did... you never watched a horror movie? that takes care of the mutilation. and how did you not know about rape? you had to have at least been taugh "dont let people touch where your bathing suit covers"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, actually, I wasn't. What kind of fucked up household did you live in? I didn't watch a rape scene or hear about the detailed brutality until I was in like 7th grade. And my parents probably just said, "don't go with strangers, they will hurt you". Not "they will cut off your breasts and let you bleed out while severing the first digits off your fingers". That's fucked up.

i wasnt over protected, i was allowed to watch pg 13 movies at 7 years old. you werent taught the area you bathing suit covers were no no places in 1st grade? we got to watch a video with a song saying "my bodys mine mine mine" knowing about murder doesnt mean i came from a fucked up household, it means my parents wanted me to be very aware of the dangers of the world and didnt sugar coat it

by Anonymous 13 years ago

"no no places" and being cognizant of the horrific realities that surround rape and mutilation are two COMPLETELY different things. BTW-I'm almost positive graphic RAPE scenes bump the rating up to R, "js"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the movies was actually supposed to be an example of vioence, i figured you wouldve been able to figure that out as i gave a different example for the ideas of rape.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Maybe you should create an outline while writing your comments in the future. Ex. I. Rape a. "no no places" II. Murder a. Pg-13 Movies b. Parents lack of sugar coat It might help, seeing as you got off track and are obviously extremely anal about being the clear and wise debater here, further proven by you refraining from commenting Anonymously... Oh. Wait.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

youre the one being extremely anal about being a wise debater lol
