my family sings a lot. My dad might just be talking about something awesome, like "Today at work, they were giving out free candy." and then he'll sing the phrase "it was awesome!" and by instinct, my mom and sisters and I will sing back up. "aaaawwwwweeeesssoommmmeee!" I never realized how weird this was until like 7th grade.
