+206 It's weird how anti-Semitics end up. One becomes the most infamous leader in history, is hated by nearly everyone and fails at nearly everything, while another becomes the most famous animated film creator of all time, is loved by the majorities and still has his name stamped on many successful films long after his death, amirite?

There's a difference between being a racist old man and a dictator who starts a genocide.

They were both anti-Semitics though. Which was the point of this post.

Yay for Hitler and Disney!

What if they had been reversed? Heil Disney and Adolf Hitler studios? Hm...

Hitler World? ... ._.

That made me laugh really hard :)

Upon researching Walt Disney, I'm sure he was NOT anti-semetic. He created anti-natsi cartoons, he became great friends with people who at the time were normally discriminated against, and he was a really great man.

1. I'm guessing that book is fake. It doesn't zoom in on anything 2. I'm basing this off of interveiws of people who knew him, and his friendship with a black man.

Black people aren't Jews, the race which is targeted by anti-Semitism. Read through all the comments, not just the top answer, and you'll see lots of backing behind the point.

John Mohammed Butt. "The hippy who became an Imam" A white British male who converted to islam and became one of the most influential guys around, risking his life to spread a message of love and peace (read a little more here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/9369142.stm) Versus....Bin Laden Or Muslim Irene Khan of Amnesty versus, say, Al Megrahi - the culprit of the Lockerbie Bombing. Then you've got the likes of Mother Theresa, versus Pope Urban II who sanctioned and supported the death, torture and slavery that surrounded the first crusade. Granted these are all religious example...but it's true of anything. For every single viewpoint, there will be extremes and people who interpret it in a different manner. It's not difficult to find examples, and it's definitely not weird. It's pretty much an everyday occurrence ;S

Mel Gibson hates Jews.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought you were referring to Mel Gibson.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Thats who I thought of until I read 'after his death.'

by Anonymous 13 years ago
