-93 The phrase "out of service" makes sense because the appliance ceases to provide us with a service...but what the hell does "out of order" mean...I didn't order a vending machine or sort it out of place amirite?

I would assume it refers to an item not being in working order.

I think it means that it cant take your order anymore

I once saw a chair that had a note saying out of order because it's backrest was missing.
