My dad is a nurse in the ICU and I'm a phlebotomist (we work in the same hospital) and there was this woman who had meningitis and just kept moaning and moaning. Of course it's heart-breaking and we all felt bad for her, but my dad was trying to make light of the situation so he found a plastic bag and drew a happy face on it and held it up to one of the other nurses and said she should put the bag over her face.
