and who the fuck are Pain and Panic?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be Phobos and Deimos, the gods of fear and terror, respectively. They were the sons of Hades. However, the term panic was derived from the god Pan, who would jump out of bushes, thus causing people to panic. So that could be a factor.

Actually Phobos and Deimos were sons of Ares, which would make sense since, Phobos and Deimos are the moons of Mars (which is Ares)

My mistake, sorry. I haven't seen the movie in forever, so whose sons were they supposed to be in the movie?

I have no clue actually. I'm a big fan of Greek Mythology, but that show hasn't come on in ages. I think the only reason they're with Hades on the Disney show/film is because there names are evil sounding? And since Ares was a good guy on the show/film. They might have just decided to give them to Hades, since he's the bad guy (and they could make them his sons). But non of that is conclusive, I'm just assuming the logical thing

They were Hades', um, "helpers", I suppose. I don't think they were portrayed as his sons, but it's possible.

And since when is Pegasus made out of clouds?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They also didn't show Zeus screwing the brains out of every goddess he could get his godly hands on, but I suppose that wouldn't be very g-rated.

*everything that moves

Filthy man whore.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They had a bizarre mixture of Greek and Roman names in there, too. In Greek, it would be Heracles, not Hercules.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And why was Hades the bad guy in this case?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, He's the son of Jupiter, which is the Roman equivalence of Zeus.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

but not the son of Hera. In fact Hera wanted to kill Heracles because Zeus banged some other chick conceiving him

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know. He was the son of a mortal. Alcmena.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'll tell you why, because it's Disney, blockhead!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They probably didn't want to show cheating in a marriage. I always felt bad for Hades, though. He didn't choose to be the god of the underworld. His brothers just picked the better ones first.

No wonder he's so pissed

Since when did zeus wanna free the titans too?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hercules had many wives too.
