If we didn't do that, we would read, or at least check the font size like anon, of every book we see. It isn't a bad thing to judge a book by its cover, but you could also be surprised by good books with bad covers. And if using that metaphorically, it's just a crock. If you see someone robbing a liquor store, you should judge him to be a bad person. If you don't you'll probably end up shot
