Christianity: It's not just a religion, its a relationship, amirite?
by Anonymous11 years ago
It's only a relationship to Christians or believers, though.

Why is this theist specific?

Not trying to be a complete douche here (just like a semi-douche or something in that area), but for anyone who isn't Christian, Christianity being a relationship is comparable to having a relationship with an imaginary friend.

And that imaginary friend refuses to answer your phone calls.

@YeahIAm: Thanks. This post confused me.
by Anonymous11 years ago
Well, of course Christianity wouldn't be much of a relationship if you weren't Christian, would it?
by Anonymous11 years ago
No way.
by Anonymous11 years ago
There's a button for that.
by Anonymous11 years ago
The button uses an explanation mark, Colebowl. Anonymous clearly wanted to use a period.

I'm note going to get into an argument with anyone because everybody is allowed to think whatever they want, but Christianity is a relationship. There may not be "proof" but for most Christians, as it is for me, it's not something you see or touch, it's something you feel inside of you. At times when I'm hurting I know God is with me even though he's not physically holding me. I have faith that he's there & honestly, that's what helps me get through life. People who don't believe might find this crazy but it's how I feel & I hope everyone can at least respect that. & this post may not even be relevant to put this on but I've been needing to get this off my chest so here it is. Thanks for reading. :)

You are welcome. :)

A relationship where you can't leave without being threatened with long time harm, where one person makes all the rules and expects them to be followed without question, is an abusive relationship.
