After 101 Dalmatians was made, the dalmatian breed became so popular that breeders started inbreeding the dogs, causing them to have birth defects or brain problems (or they just got stupid), so no one wanted them anymore. That's why you don't see them much anymore. Quite a shame, right? They're so cute! (I realize you probably weren't looking for this, but I think it's interesting)
