The egg came before the chicken, since dinosaurs slowly evolved into chickens, amirite?

That and dinosaurs laid eggs, meaning eggs were around way before chickens and way before dinosaurs evolved into chickens.

Even if you think that it's a far fetched theory, there were still eggs around before chickens, so the point remains - the riddle never specifically said that it was a chicken's egg - it said "the egg" not "her egg" or "chicken's egg".

Interestingly an egg contains an element that can only be produced by... *suspenseful drum-roll* a CHICKEN! Therefor the chicken came first. :) Putting science aside, The bible clearly states "God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing ... and every winged bird according to its kind." as you can clearly see not eggs :D

Even according to evolution it doesn't say anywhere that it evolved into a chicken... ~That is like saying humans evolved from apes (which is wrong according to evolution) They simply have a common ancestor... I actually studied evolution to know it's wrong...

Everyone is treating this as a riddle, when it really is a rhetorical question regarding the origin of life, of evolution causing species to jump vs. the creation as described in Genesis. It wasn't meant to be answered.
