+534 It seems like everyone has forgotten that first kisses used to wait till a girl's sweet 16. Now it's a surprise if she has her virginity at that age, amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

And that's just one of the reasons this generation/whatever is so disgusting.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

almost eighteen and haven't had my first kiss yet!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

18 and a half and haven't had my first kiss yet! I'm not entirely sure whether this is a good or bad thing.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't really think a 16 year old virgin is surprising.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In my school it is. :P Also, considering the show "16 and pregnant"... I also heard that some teens have tried to get pregnant on purpose, just to end up on TV.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I didn't know that. :O (The first kiss thing, that is) You've actually inspired me to not have sex until I'm at least 18 or so, so thanks. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What kind of teenagers do you know?!?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A generation full of irresponsible sluts... greeaaattt. Just what the world needs to run it right now. A bunch of underaged parents.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Or maybe our generation has just figured out that sex is just a part of life. Doesn't make us irresponsible. The teenage pregnancy is the irresponsible part, and that's more of an exception than a norm.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree. But if you're not smart enough to use protection or rich enough to pay for a baby, then you shouldn't do it at all.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just because it's a part of life doesn't mean it's good. Stealing, lying, and killing are all part of life, but that doesn't mean you should do it. I know having sex isn't as bad as killing and it doesn't affect anyone not involved, but it's just a moral thing. People should wait for marriage.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Almost 18 and I haven't kissed anyone. Good? Bad? I don't know. But for the sex thing, I'm waiting until I'm married.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It may seem like teens are more promiscuous but I doubt that's true. The only thing that has changed is people are less afraid to talk about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You make a very good point.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Im 16 and people look at me weird when I tell them I'm waiting for marriage to lost my virginity... But I have kissed but I was 16 so I win ^-^

by Anonymous 13 years ago

What about people who have lost their virginty at an extremely young age because of rape/sexual assault? What are we supposed to say? please think of those who have been forced into these situations. They have no control of the outcome.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Woohoo! Another post claiming that these problems are exclusive to one generation!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was waiting for someone to say this. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Also, the age of consent doesn't help either. In Hawaii, it's 13, in Michigan, it's 16...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Holy crap! I thought it was 18 everywhere!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Nope :/ I live in MI, and half the girls in my grade are sober virgins, the other half are drunken whores.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I live in TX. There's a lot more of a drinking problem where I live than a sex problem, but despite the popularity of chastity rings at my school, there's still at least 7 pregnant girls in my high school of only about 100-150 per grade...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's insane! yeah, a lot of kids drink in my school because we're in some small town haha but its upsetting, when i was in eighth grade (8TH! WHEN WE WERE 13!) a girl got pregnant...she was 14, but still. i advanced to high school and there were three girls pregnant...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh, that's nothin'. XD I knew a guy who got a girl pregnant in 6th grade. 0_0

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's insane!!!!!!!!!!!!! like, eleven! what!!?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know, I was preeetttyyyyy creeped out when I found that out.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ughh *shivers*

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In seventh grade social studies class, some girl was giving me a really dirty look. I asked someone what her problem was, and she was pregnant. AT AGE 13. IN SEVENTH GRADE.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

WHAT THE HELL.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

At my high school, nobody wears chastity rings, they wear condoms and I've never heard of any of the 2500 students ever getting pregnant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Good thing I live in Michigan :)
