Yeah, Hermione in the book wasn't supposed to be pretty, she was supposed to have buck teeth, poofy hair and thick eyebrows. I don't think the people who did the casting expected Emma Watson to grow up to be so effing gorgeous. Ginny was supposed to be the one who turned out to be really pretty, but they cast Bonnie Wright as Ginny before the later books came out, and I'm not saying she's not pretty, but she's definitely not up there with Emma.

I agree, I think the girl they cast for ginny is sweet, but she isn't as gorgeous as all the other characters are supposed to think.

I believe the post was about the character, not about the actress. If it was about the actress, the OP would have said Emma Watson.
