+443 Disregarding classical music as boring or lame is disregarding thousands of years of music. Out of all the different styles and composers, there's going to be at least one classical song to like, amirite?

Carnival of Animals, love Also, moonlight sonata

by Anonymous 12 years ago

moonlight sonata is like my favourite bedtime song! I love Don Giovanni, he has a fantastic voice!

There's a version of Moonlight Sonata with singing? I think that'd kinda ruin it for me, it's perfect with just a piano.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh, I meant it as a separate note, there is not singing version of Moonlight Sonata, what I meant to say is that I love opera

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh that makes more sense, thanks :) I'll check him out, I enjoy opera as well :)

Muse mixes Classical with Rock <3 Just listen to United States of Eurasia and Exogenesis Symphony 1 to 3

Thank you! All the other people think the kind of music I listen to sucks...

Let's try hundreds if you're counting from baroque through the contemporary period, but I appreciate the sentiment.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I was counting before Baroque, we have records of songs from ancient Greece.

Right but that's still not really considered "classical" music. People lump it with classical but pre-medieval music is really its own genre, and even then the medieval period of music started even after the fall of Rome. Not to be a smartass but even then you're only looking at 1500 years. Again I appreciate the sentiment. That's a lot of music to disregard at a glance when it forms the basis for how we hear music today. Without Mozart there'd be no Ke$ha. ...Damn it, Mozart!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Haha well thank you for the clarification. You could blame Mozart, but for a specific individual I'm more likely to blame Beethoven. But without Mozart there'd be no Beethoven.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Ehh. I tend to blame Mozart for all the world's problems. Haha.
