+228 Homosexuals have created a new problem with room assignments on school trips. What are teachers suppossed to do put gays in the opposite genders room and bisexuals alone, amirite?

I don't think its really a problem. kids aren't likely to have any sexual adventures if there are other people present. but if they feel the need, just seperate boys from girls as usual, and keep gays with boys but in seperate rooms from other gays and there will be no problem. same with lesbians.

guys.... its just a funny thought...

Well I think their main concern would be if boys and girls have sex, girls may get pregnant. Gay guys obviously cant get each other pregnant..

Also, putting homosexuals in the opposite genders room wouldn't work - you're saying that you should put gay males in the females room, because they might hit on the straight males, and that you should put lesbians in the males room, since they might hit on straight females. However, what about the homosexuals getting hit on by the opposite gender? Particularly if you put an attractive lesbian in the straight males room.

You could put gay guys and lesbians together I suppose.

I think it comes down to excluded students who show inappropriate behaviour. If the gay and bi students can't go on a school trip without hitting on the same gender when sharing a room, then they aren't mature enough to go on a school trip. And if the straight students can't share a room with a homosexual student without resorting to stupid comments or "fag-bashing", then they aren't mature enough to go on a school trip.

That makes no sense... it's not about maturity, especially when it comes down to the straights. Would you put a "mature" guy with a "mature" girl? No, because all that would do is cause them to have "mature" sex. If gays make them feel uncomfortable, then you should accommodate them, because they ARE the majority. I have nothing against gays, but (at least in the US) there is a majority rules rule.

I find this post a tad ignorant..

There is a lesbian in my gym class. She just changes in the bathroom down the hall. My other female friend just came out of the closet, and she changes in the room. She doesn't 'hit' on anyone.

So, for the sake of school trips why don't we just make sure no one is gay, right? I'm sure people can handle themselves when on a school trip. Not all gay people are attracted to every boy they see. Just because you are in a room with a gay person doesn't mean they're going to try to make a move on you. Chill.
