Ok, first of all, I'd like to point out that just because this account was made for me in june, doesn't mean thats when i discovered amirite. hieroglyphics were considered a form of writing, just as one time the wheel was the pinnacle of mankind's engineering, the Earth was thought to be flat and women were tested for being witches. Times change and the rules change. So in the here and now of the confines of this website my original comments still stand true against yours. One final point, letters are symbols but not all symbols are letters.

The post refers to writing, not letters. Yes, symbols are not necessarily letters, but that doesn't mean they aren't written. Writing is often defined as something written, including a symbol, and from there this argument becomes completely subjective.

Letters form words and words are written. The only time you would say "write an arrow" is if your grammar was awful.Seeing as nothing is wrong with your grammar, it appears you are arguing for the sake of arguing. What remains to be seen is whether you will continue to assume the role of the classic online poster who is in the wrong and must continue to argue regardless or admit being wrong and bow out with dignity.

1. Arguing against the last line of my comment means you clearly missed that it was intended to be ironic. 2. Yes that is "basically" what it says. However, that is not what it actually says. It is clever because of the presentation that you are refusing to acknowledge. Content is only one facet of writing. 3. Your arumentum ad hominem combined with guilt by association (these are both logical fallacies btw) are not going to be acknowledged.
