+146 No one understands what it's like to have a twin. Your twin is ALWAYS number one in your life. He/she is above other family members, friends, and even yourself. It's a bond that one will never get, so stop calling us weird for doing "twin things", amirite?

im not even a twin and i understand how you would feel here

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I've never heard anyone call twins weird. And I know like 5 pairs of twins.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some people like to call the things me and my sister do weird... So what if we hug a lot, pretend to be gay, and stuff?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's not just homosexuality, that is inscest as well... WOW.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm worried about what this "and stuff" you're referring to is...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Wow, way to promote twincest.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well in that case, you don't know what its like to not have a twin and not get the bond ya'll have.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes I do. I also have a brother, who isn't my twin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

haha I have a twin brother and other siblings Sometimes I feel guilty because my brother and I are somewhat closer than I am with them. It doesn't mean I love them less. Other people don't understand that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Pff no. I can barely stand my twin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I think you would understand what it's like to have a twin if you do have a twin.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But they only understand what THEIR relationship is like. That doesn't mean that every other twin is exactly like them. I am a twin and I know other twins and they treat each other like normal siblings.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The thing is, you're assuming because you're a twin, then every other twin has a similar experience to you. Can't talk from experience, being single-birth myself, but some twins I've met are just as close as normal siblings, albeit being the same age they would be raised in the same manner, but just as every, for example, older sister-younger brother pair doesn't have the same relationship, every pair of twins doesn't have the same relationship.

Thank you! People expect me to be inseperable from my twin just because we're "twinny". We're alike, we hang out, that doesn't mean she's the biggest thing in my life or that I can't stand the thought of living without her.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Sure, some twins are close, but my brothers are twins and they can't stand each other, and my boyfriend has a twin sister, and they argue as much as any siblings do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Twins are awesome. I wish I had one.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's just like having a sibling. Personally, my brother and I don't even think of ourselves as twins until our birthday comes around.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have a twin and I hate it. yeah we have some weird twin stuff that happens occasionally, but mostly we just fight and bitch at each other. So no, my twin definitely isn't number one, and I don't put her before anyone else in my life.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have a twin, and sometimes he verbally abuses me. This post is not always true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I do that too, but it's for fun. she does it to me too, I'm just better at it. She laughed when I read her the post.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah mine does it to be an ass.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My Dad has a twin sister. I really don't think he feels like this. I actually feel like he's closer to his younger brother.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm a twin too! What annoys me the most is that people always group us together, even though we really have nothing in common (I'm a girl girl, she's a tomboy)And it offends me when people still confuse me for her even when I'm wearing my cutest outfit and she's dressed like a slob.I love her anyway, though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I agree. I am a twin and I don't think any other sibling relationship is as strong as twin. :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Same gender twins are usually closer than different ones, I've noticed. My twin is just like the rest of my sisters to me.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have to disagree. My twin and I are nothing alike and though I love him, I don't love him any more than I would if I had another sibling. I don't think that twins share anything more in common than normal sibs... Besides the womb.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

My twin and I share dreams and thoughts sometimes. Haha. And when we were little I could feel her pain. Fo reals. Luckily that stopped. :P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I have a twin brother and a younger brother. I'd have to say I'm a bit closer to my younger brother than my twin

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm a fraternal twin, and I find it irritating when people tell me I am not a twin because we don't look alike.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This girl needs a boyfriend. Now.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

This girl has a boyfriend. He understands that my twin (Pikabeau on this site) comes first ^_^

by Anonymous 12 years ago

there are a LOT of twins at my all-girl school. we're always joking around that it's not fair when they take tests cause they have "twin-telepathy", and they're fraternal.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? Not even closer to your parents or something?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I love you boo. These people just don't get it <3

by Anonymous 12 years ago

they just don't understand us =P we're weird, but idgaf <3 (no homo)
