+433 If you play an instrument, its incredibly sad when you really want to learn a hard song but your fingers just won't cooperate. amirite?

It's weird cause I'll try playing certain songs one day and give up because my hand starts to hurt from trying so hard. Then I try again some time later and all of a sudden I can play it. haha

I hate on brass I'm like "I'll play a high note!" but then my braces attack my face.

I was trying to learn the acoustic version of Layla by Eric Clapton, but I just couldn't play it for the first week. Then suddenly, this week I can play almost the entire song, including the solo at about 3/4 speed.

song is easy

I wouldn't call Layla easy by no stretch of the imagination. If we are talking about the same version of the song, the solo is a hard(ish) to play, especially since a lot of it is in 3's. That's just my opinion anyway.

Or when you play a classical piece on the piano awesomely when no one is around, but once you have an audience everything goes to shit.

inb4 fingers-not-cooperating jokes. That being said, I played the flute for like a year, but it made me pass out. So I switched to a clarinet which took forever for me to figure out how to even make a sound, so the fingers weren't the biggest problem :B I quit the next year anyways, though.

Flight of the bumble bee on bass. I learned the first part of the melody and gave up. I'll try again soon though.

Especially if the song you want to play is one you wrote.
