You would rather die of heat than cold, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
If it gets cold enough, everything goes numb.
by Anonymous12 years ago
But it feels better if it's warm
by Anonymous12 years ago
I know right? I just love the sensation of my skin melting off my body.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Your skin wouldn't melt off, you'd just get 3rd degree burns all over
by Anonymous12 years ago
Which you could feel the pain of the entire time until it hurt so bad you lost consciousness, when people freeze to death their body goes numb breathing gets harder so you pass out then you die.

third degree burns is when it's burnt so deep that the nerves are burnt away, so you won't feel that either. But I read this as heat as in desert, not burnt to death. :?
by Anonymous12 years ago
You still feel it for a few Excruciating seconds before the nerves burn.
by Anonymous12 years ago
If you think about all the pros and cons their both pretty terrible
by Anonymous12 years ago
I agree
by Anonymous12 years ago
But if you die in cold you can keep yourself warm with your body heat and if you die in hot you can't really keep yourself cool
by Anonymous12 years ago
by Anonymous12 years ago
Your body actually tries to get cooler when you sweat
by Anonymous12 years ago
Being steamed to death.. now that would suck. Haha.
by Anonymous12 years ago
When you freeze to death you fall asleep and die when you heat to death welll.. Have you ever watched kill with me.. Something like that will happen..Your skin boiling off you

As previously mentioned, it all depends on the extremes of the temperatures. If it's just around the threshold of fatality for either extreme, I'd definitely go with cold. It'd be a much more comfortable death, and whoever had to clean me up would have much less of a disgusting, rotten mess to deal with.
If it's the most extremes for eaither temperature, I'd go with heat. Incineration would be an instant, clean, painless death.

Quite frankly, I'd rather just get really cold and then get hypothermia and then just fall asleep. I like sleep. That would be an okay way to go, in my opinion.
by Anonymous12 years ago
Well it depends on the type of heat, because if you were in the desert you would just get heat stroke, pass out and then hopefully die before you wake up.
