My friend always talks to her mom on the phone in a mixture of Spanish and English. Once, she had the whole conversation in Spanish, and the only thing in English wad, "I'm going to the park."

I always thought it was amusing because when my guy friends switch to Spanish for that, it always seems like their voices get deeper. It's entertaining to listen to.

My friend talks to her mum in cantonese, but throws in the odd english word. We were shopping and her mum rang and the words "bus ticket" "mcdonalds" and "primark" were mentioned. There were more but I can't remember them now, and to be fair it's her second language which she only speaks to her parents so those words don't tend to get used often.
