+179 How well you do in school is directly related to how much you will have to pay for your college tuition, amirite?

What about academic scholarships?

that's a good point. I'm just saying that if you do well in school you are more likely to spend more on college tuition because you will attend a more prestigious university.

i completely took that the way danieljames did. the better you do the less you shell out yourself.

unless you benefit from affirmative action.

What about financial aid ? I'm emancipated so they pay nearly full tuition for me. And I have a 3.5 as a bio pre-med major.

Who pays?

not necessarily...my sister had a 34 ACT, over 5.0 gpa, & was in her class's top 10, but ended up going to a shitty state school with a couple scholarships. huge waste of her potential, if you ask me, but i didn't do as well in school & pay more for my college.

Not really. If you're wealthy enough, you can go to virtually any (expensive) university you want without the grades to deserve it.
