+259 It is very ironic that a majority of the apps that are supposed to save you money aren't free, amirite?

FINALLY! Someone on the internet who actually knows what irony is!

Yeah, it's pretty ironic when someone doesn't know what irony is.

Verbal irony -- a writer makes a statement in which the actual meaning differs from the meaning that the words appear to express. Spending 99 cents for a music app costs less than spending 99 cents per song, unless you use the app to buy one song, then you're just stupid- the words express exactly what they mean. Situational irony -- accidental events occur that seem oddly appropriate, such as the poetic justice of a TV weather presenter getting caught in a surprise rainstorm. There's nothing "oddly appropriate" about spending a small amount of money to save a large amount of money, like buying insurance. Dramatic irony -- a narrative in which the reader knows something about present or future circumstances that a character in the story does not know. People know when they spend money on an app and that spending money on that app will save them money later one.
