Girls: There is always that one piece of jewelry you ever take off, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
What? I'm guessing you mean "never" take off
by Anonymous12 years ago
You missed and 'n', kinda changes the whole meaning of the post, doesn't it?
by Anonymous12 years ago
My dad gave me a necklace the Christmas before he died, and I haven't taken it off since other than to clean it.

I'm guessin someone enjoys being pitied.

(WTF mate?): Or she just misses her dad?
by Anonymous12 years ago
So if u have a dead relative u miss, you should go around sticking their name everywhere ruining everyone's day?
by Anonymous12 years ago
(WTF mate?): She's not sticking his name everywhere; she's just wearing a necklace he gave her. And it wouldn't really ruin everyone's day. I wouldn't be upset if my friend's dad died and she wore a necklace he'd given her.

My grandma, who I hardly ever see, bought me a mood necklace at a fair we went to together. It was one of the cheap ones and not very well-made, but I took really good care of it and only took it off when I was going to shower, because water kills mood jewelry. Unfortunately after a year and a half the casting cracked and I had to throw it away in case it leaked.
I'm glad you still have yours.

Awe, that sucks. One thing I did was get a tattoo because I know that jewelery won't last forever, but my skin is my sink. So I'm not too terribly worried about losing or breaking the necklace (though I really hope I don't). I got my tattoo shortly after the chain broke and I had to replace it, almost had a heart attack.
@1229288 (WTF mate?): No I don't enjoy being pittied, and nobody should pitty me because my dad died. It was simply relevant to the post.

11 pieces of jewellery actually.
One necklace, 6 rings, 4 bracelets.
The necklace is my half of the two half-heart necklaces which I bought for myself and my ex. I never take it off.
Ring one is a black leather ring my dad made. Ring two is my mom's engagement ring. Rings three and four that I keep on the same finger are one from my ex and one my dad got in Israel. Ring five is a 'You&Me' ring from my ex. Ring six is a silver ring I got from my parents for my 13th birthday. I never take them off, except rings one, three and four in the shower.
My bracelets are a blue and purple beaded one I made when I was little, a braided string one from my dad, an elastic band I found, and a silver bracelet with my name on from my mom. I never take those off.
Then there's my watch that I almost always have on.

Well I'm a guy but a necklace with a cross, peace sign and one of my mom's old rings, only taken off during sports.
