+402 Limited edition food seems like a weird idea. It's not like you can collect it; it would expire. And if you wanted to buy more later you couldn't, amirite?

Coke had limited edition bottles for a while, that my mother still has, unopened. Or were you talking more about fast fast food places that have limited edition burgers?

I saw a box of "Limited edition" candy, a variation on a popular brand. I was thinking, "Suppose someone loves that more than the original? What then?"

Then they kidnap the original manufactors and lock them in the basement, forcing them to create one new batch every week, and being let out only to get more supplies. Candy is a collectable, depending on what it's kept in - if it's in a tin or some sort of plastic, it's good, but if it's in a cardboard box, nope.

I really love Shamrock shakes. But I suppose that they can't really be for sale all year long.
