+730 Bin Laden is dead, but Al Quada will keep attacking. This isn't the end, this is just the beginning of it, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think it's just the end of the beginning. Their first leader is fallen, now it's just waiting for what is coming next.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, they will continue. But, the chances of a succession war within Al Qaeda, the resultant splits from this would leave opposing factions that do not coordinate. This is nicer to hunt down in general.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not the beginning, more like the middleish

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Thanks for the reminder, Professor Killjoy.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's the beginning of the end of the end of the beginning.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That would mean there's no middle....

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's a song....

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

True, just wait for the first of the retaliatory strikes in the next few weeks. I assume they're gonna go all out just to show the world even with Osama (apparently) gone they're still #1 terrorists.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's the spirit!!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Their leader is dead. They're going to retaliate. People are celebrating the death of Bin Laden while the terrorists are already planning to retaliate.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I agree, but I don't think it's something that we can be too sure about. When Hitler died, the Nazis didn't do any retaliation. Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm no historian.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

but Nazi Germany was also in shambles at that point. Terrorism is still chugging right along and not quite that weak.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Why would there be retaliation? He committed suicide.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I dont think that celebrating the killing of a mass terrorist is the right thing to do... The war on terrorism is hardly over. We should be upset that it took 10 years to catch this man, not celebrating it. It makes me sick all the people that were cheering for him

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, Osama had allies willing to hide him from Sudan to Pakistan. Looking for Osama was like looking for a needle in a haystack, if the hay was trying to kill you and the needle kept moving around. Also, they didn't want to kill him but he was involved in a skirmish. They would rather have kept him alive.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Alright thats true, but I still think that it is bad that we celebrate this hard for this event.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, taking 10 years to find him sucks, but look at the message we just sent to other terrorists. It might take a while, but we WILL find them. It shows we're willing to stick with it until we catch them.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah actually thats really true, we were really persistent in finding him, and it definitely is not a negative thing to kill this mass murderer, but I feel like we all are acting like every member of Al Qaeda is gone forever

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's a good cliffhanger

by Anonymous 12 years ago

MORE DRAMATIC!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"End of Season 1"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

None of you guys get that he was the money source for their exploits. Without him, they don't have the proper funding. The world is filled with people like Al Qaeda who want to blow things up and cause terror, but you need money to do that. And morons don't make very much money.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Way to be positive...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There better not be attacks of revenge.

"But as soon as you get rid of one enemy, they find someoe even worse to replace him."
