+241 just because you don't take all honors and AP classes in high school or have the highest GPA doesn't mean you won't go anywhere in life, amirite?

As long as you're hardworking and determined to get where you want to get to

If they're hardworking why don't they take the honors classes?

they may have other problems to deal with but I actually meant once they get out of high school. Sure high school is the time people form important habits and such, but I've heard so many success stories of people who slack off in high school and work their butts off in college and become successful or don't even go to college and just work on their own to build themselves up.

Just because someone is hardworking doesn't mean they'd be able to understand the material. If they have to work hard in a regular class, I don't think they'd be able to.

And even if you do all those in high school it doesn't mean you will get somewhere in life.

Even if you have failing grades, if you aren't doing any expensive drugs, you'll get somewhere if you're the actual smart that public schools don't recogize ;)
