People who give their children weird names are really selfish, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
"Weird" is quite subjective. The parents might find it normal.

idk, I mean, the name "Pilot Inspektor"(sic) is kind of wierd. And yes, that is a real name.

I just don't understand how anyone can name their children the things they do.
Then again, I'm hoping to name my firstborn son Mac with a middle name starting with A, making his initials MAC. That would probably get a child made fun of a lot, so I don't have a right to talk.

My friend Sam's initials are SAM but people don't make fun of him.

How do you look at a newborn baby and say "WOW, YOU LOOK LIKE A HENRIETTA."
by Anonymous12 years ago
Umm I've always liked odd, uncommon names I wanna name my future daughter (I plan on adoption) Jezebel because I love the name and the nicknames (Jez, Jezzy, Belle)....I fail to see how this makes me selfish?
by Anonymous12 years ago
I don't know about you, but my family considers Jezebel to be the female devil. Just google "Jezebel"
by Anonymous12 years ago
(CasieI i realize the connotation but if you look up the meaning of the name jezebel it means pure...i frankly don't care about the story behind ONE person with that name, others shouldn't either.

Advice for future parents:
Make sure that when you name your kid, there are no famous movie stars or characters that are extremely famous that have the same name. If I had a dollar for every time I heard ANNIE GET YOUR GUN or HAHAHA THE SUN WILL COME OUT TOMORROW LOLOL IM SO FUNNY ... I'd be a millionaire.

Not at all! I love having a weird name, its a total conversation starter and I'd hate to have the same boring name as loads of people I know!

Wow, I know a woman who named her child "Baby". The child is like 13 now and still has the same name.
