acne scars are not caused for wearing too much makeup. Guys can have acne too.

Yes, they can. But by putting on makeup, you are introducing foreign substances to your skin, causing the acne you do have to stay. Its a vicious circle.

well thats true, it can get worse too. But I wear makeup everyday and I've never had acne or skin problems. If you wash your face at night and take care of your skin with the right products, makeup shouldn't be a problem with acne.

I wear cover-up whenever my face breaks out, but I make it look natural enough that no one thinks I have any makeup on.

Of course guys get acne too...if you don't wash and take care of your skin it will happen no matter the gender. I've seen so many women with day old makeup on its disgusting...its a big factor of bad skin for females though. Caked on makeup...pores can't breath, same with skin oils & daily dirt/grime.

I used to wear make-up when I was twelve to hide acne, but I find it too much of a bother. My acne was never too serious in the first place, and a lot of the girls in my grade have much worse acne.
