Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that the interactions and experiences you have with the world around you, rather than personal choices you've made, are really what defines you as a person?

I don't like to think about it. The person I become dies. It's a pretty awesome death, fit for an Oscar if it's caught on film, but it is still a death.
