+351 We use ciao and bonjour just because we like the sound of another language. What if the Italians and French like to use 'See yaaaa' and 'Wassup' just because it's another language to them? amirite?

I do that all the time :O I'm not Italian nor French though

they actually do... I live in paris and all my french friends greet me with "whats up?" or "heyyy"(like a valley girl) even if they don't speak english.

We do. But we deliberately speak with like a broken English, so as to sound like idiots. "How goes it today?" "It are going very deliciously, how are it being with you?" ... Either that, or we make it very sophisticated.
