I was walking down a set of stairs that were awkwardly spaced to the point where they were so close together, I felt as though I should skip steps. I twisted my ankle doing this, and my defense was "The stairs are awkwardly spaced!" so I can't tell you how grateful I am to see this post.

The ones leading up to my school are like 1/3 the height and the same depth as regular stairs. So you either take awkwardly long steps or annoying tiny steps to get up them...
