Our nation’s history is unfit for children. amirite?

Or children could learn the past so they understand.

What nation are you referring to?

I'm assuming you're American? When I was a child, we had this Thanksgiving play we did where all the Indians and all the Pilgrims sat down together and were just, gosh darn it, the best of friends! Yeah, that makes me want to fucking puke.

Our nation's history is our nation's history. It's not particularly up to us to decide whether or not children should learn about it.

It's not decided by people what children learn in school? So who IS it decided by?
by Anonymous12 years ago
My dear anon, you misunderstand. I was simply saying that it wasn't anyone's right to decide which bits of history are or aren't fit to be taught.
