-610 Women have it so much better than men. They have one period a month to deal with, while we men are surrounded by women on their periods EVERY DAY, amirite?

"you don't know what it's like to push something with a head the size of a basketball out of a hole the size of a golf ball!"

by Anonymous 14 years ago

(lies. C:): I'm tired of women using such exaggerations. NO baby's head is as big as a basketball. Try a softball or basesball maybe for a preemie.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the head may not be that big but the average newborn baby's body is about the size of a small water melon. plus the fact that it literally rips your body open. plus the contractions of your body preparing to give birth.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the average circumference of a newborn's head is within the circumference of a softball. Maybe you forget how small babies actually are, or how big a softball is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

nope i actually watched my mother give birth on tuesday i know how much of a streatch it is. btw i never said anything about a softball i said the entire baby is about the size of a small water melon which it is. but whatever believe what you want this debate has gone on for generations and will keep going on because women dont know what its like to be a man and men dont know what its like to be a woman so when we try to compare we cant really understand what we are comparing im just gonna not involve myself in these conversations any more

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah? You try sticking a cotton tube up there. You try walking around feeling like you've wet your pants. You try to deal with cramps, mood swings, and bloating. Oh, and don't forget the awful smell of the blood.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

We, also, have to deal with these women on the their periods, while being on our period.

by Anonymous 14 years ago

win

by Anonymous 13 years ago

See, all the other arguments up there ^ are a bit nonsensical, but yours actually makes sense.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Took the words right out of my mouth.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

How is that bad for you? Women seem to LOVE discussing periods.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, they just love having a reason to complain. Periods do suck, though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

For us, it's an emotional roller coaster, our boobs hurt, and our boyfriends only talk to us for 30 minutes. Yeah, ONLY 30 MINUTES. [If you get where this is from, I might have to marry you.]

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Whitest Kids U Know? :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YES.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lame. Until you've had a period, your not allowed to make this statement. Also, dancinpickle is 100% correct. Guys, suck it up and buy your girlfriend some chocolate.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I really wish men had periods so we could all tell you women to suck it up. Yes, I am saying that we men would be able to deal with it better than women. And yes, I have an idea of what it's like because there are women around who know how to explain what it's like.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A period is different for a lot of people. My period is painful while for my best friend, you can't even tell she's on her period. And exactly how do you know that they explained it completely? Andddddd you can't exactly say a man would handle it better. Next you're gonna say that a man can handle a boner better than a woman.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lady... 1. I don't think it's the period, I think it's the person. I may be wrong, but the general consensus says it's more or less the same. 2. They can't all be lying if they're all saying the same thing... I think. 3. GENERALLY (I caps locked it because it's important) in terms of handling pain, I'd say men can take it better. I don't hate women, even though it may seem like it from what I've been saying. It's just that the two genders are different (men are burly and tough, women are dainty and cute). Overall, one is not superior to the other. P.S. A man can handle a boner better than a woman.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Excuse me? Pardon me if you dont like this, but all women arent 'dainty and cute.' I shudder at those freaking words. And all men aren't tough and burly. I know PLENTY of guys that i could kick thier asses. We women can hold our own if we choose not to be 'dainty and cute.' I actually take that term to an offensive. And how would you know guys would be able to handle it better? Who knows, maybe if guys had it, it would naturally be much worse in everhthing for you. Cramps, flow, sickness, everything. So dont go around saying you know a guy would be able to handle your period way better than we can. 'Dainty and cute'........ Ughh....

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Woman, learn to read before you let your emotions get the better of you. I'm not talking about ALL women or ALL men.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? Cause I didnt see you say 'some' women and 'some' men, I see you put 'women' and 'men', refering to ALL or MOST women and men. Not 'some.' And dont call me woman.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The non-dainty/cute women are generally referred to as dikes POW!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

So I'm a dike because I know how to do things for myself? Because my parents didn't raise me to think I needed a man to do things for me? Because I know how to act like a lady as well as how to change a tire? Yeah I've been called cute before but I don't WANT to be called dainty. I'm not made of glass

by Anonymous 13 years ago

MythBusters says that women are more tolerant to pain the men. MythBusters doesn't lie.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No intention of starting an argument here, but my friend (who is a male) is in med school right now, and recently told me that women actually usually handle pain better than men do. He said the women patients aren't nearly as squirmish and don't moan and complain as much. I'm not sure if that applies for everyone, but that's what I was told.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That would be because people don't teach their kids anything. They just pamper them. You're not supposed to pamper children ALL the time, especially boys. It's healthy for little boys to rough around. So they don't grow up and include themselves into the group of male vaginas who can't take a little tummy ache.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Can I just visit the homepage one time and not have to hear about your vaginal bleeding?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Please make this a post

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Eh sure why not.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

YOU DID! :D

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There is NO way in hell a man would handle a period better than we do... have you ever seen a sick man? Even a cold turns you guys into whimpering, useless lumps that need coddling. It's not just pain, boys... it's crazy hormones that affect your mood(and your skin =[), that constant fear you're going to leak and either humiliate yourself or ruin clothes, the exhaustion, and some girls even get diarrhea with every cycle. Some women walk around with a solid band of pain around their middles for a week straight, regardless of meds... and, to see her irl, you'd never know. I am speaking of adult women, here, btw... not girls who've only had theirs for a year or two and are still getting used to it. Just because girls/women use the internet to complain to each other about it doesn't mean they don't suffer in silence in public places irl, because they almost always do. Guys- it's fucking gross, it makes us miserable, and there's absolutely nothing we can do to stop it... so lay...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

... off us. I bet that if men *did* have the periods, and our society still developed the same way(which it wouldn't have, but for the sake of argument), there would be days off work/school for periods.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Girls are really insensitive. Any problem guys have they dismiss it as nothing because they have to have periods and give birth. Maybe they should stop complaining all the time, because it doesn't take away the pain. Seriously girls, suck it up. Listening to you talk about it once a month hurts too. BTW, I'm a girl.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok, let me be more clear and simple: guys, you will not hear so much about it in adult life, except perhaps from your significant others, because the majority of us are used to it and don't feel the need to talk about it every single month. If even dealing with your gf/wife's monthly problem is too much for you, here's a solution: switch teams, and avoid fag hags. If you just cut alllll the women out of your life, it goes away. =P

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They're overie-acting.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You're correct, and not only that we actually feel it more intensely... women have more pain receptors than men. That's all scientific fact. The grown men I know are all well aware of how much tougher we are... might still get teased about a lack of upper-body strength, but at least that's true as well.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

@QuinSimmons I did think that analogy was a little silly... I always thought "pushing a watermelon out of a hole the size of a lemon" was much more apt. ... I'm so glad I didn't have to do that... the idea of my hole being the size of a lemon is scary. O.o;

by Anonymous 13 years ago

XD hahah BURN
