-176 As heartless as I'm going to sound, if someone gets mad and commits suicide over something someone says, good riddance, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, there's a difference between, "You're stupid," and "If you don't kill yourself, I'll rape your mother, kill your father, sell your little sister in slavery, and use your dog as shark bait, and I'm not kidding."

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And that is why suicide rates are so high these days. It's a shame :/

I agree with this. I'm all for standing up against suicide and whatnot, but sometimes people kill themselves over small things and it's just stupid. Heartless thig to say, yes. But people can't just kill themselves over small things.

when tottering on the edge a small push either way makes the difference.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I agree, but then it's not the words that killed them. It's their situation.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

no one commits suicide because someone was mean to them one time. It's either a string of abusive, or the final straw, either way i disagree.

Cyberbullying is a crock of shit. Sorry, had to say it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

So I guess I am a crock of shit? Thanks a lot.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

what?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well I dunno if you should be saying good riddance, but such a person probably has some kind of problem, I mean a sane healthy person would never get mad to the point of suicide cause he/she was perhaps called a retard. Give that person some help and he/she won't be a bother to the world anymore like the person who gets way to emotional you describe.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That is such a generalized and insensitive thing to say.

Let's hope OP never becomes a psychologist

Who commits suicide over being mad? Isn't it suicide over being sad/depressed?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I could be a mix of frustration and depression.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Grrr I'm so mad I'mma kill myself. madness is more revenge

by Anonymous 12 years ago

to a certain extent, i agree. however, if the kid was like six and was being taunted because he was openly gay, then i have to disagree (because he doesnt know any better, his childlife and to extent adolescence are ruined, etc). but most of the time, cyber"bullying" actually helps kids learn P.S. all props to you for having the balls to write this

Try no

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I can't.... Mobile site. Unless that doesn't matter...?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't know what makes me more sick; the fact that this post was made or the fact of how many people agreed with it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think the people who said NW were thinking of one comment pushing an already unstable person over the edge while the people who voted YYA were thinking of a person who isn't already depressed or considering suicide killing themselves over one comment.

What happens when you're dead?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You rot in the ground.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

BUT IS THERE AN AFTERLIFE!? o______O

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Doubtfully.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Bummer......

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's stupid when people are bullied a little (or worse, broken up with) so they commit suicide as a way to make them feel guilty. And I mean like, "Ha Ha four-eyes!" "YOU JERK. WHEN I'M DEAD YOU'LL BE SORRY." "lolwut..." *gunshot* If you want to make someone feel guilty or stupid about making fun of you, its better to show them how happy and successful you are without them. Showing them how dead you are will just make them be like "...oh." And also, killing yourself because someone broke up with you just causes them a lifetime of guilt. So if those are the reasons you killed yourself, then yeah. Screw the dead you.

I'd just like to say that in my opinion, almost every person who would commit suicide or thinks of it would probably have something hard going on in their life, and it may not seem that big to other people like the *cough* asshole *cough* who posted this. Also, everyone has different ways to deal with shit in their lives and some people's ways are things such as cutting, or suicide. It's how their mind works, if everyone thought the exact same way there wouldn't be such a thing as 'unique'. Everyone sees things differently and so everyone is going to see a different solution to a problem. I've had some tough shit in my life and I thought about suicide, but I had the opportunity to talk to a trained psychologist about it and they helped me sort through all my shit and helped me see 'the light' but some people don't have that opportunity so it stays bottled up. One persons mind can only handle so much.
