+175 It isn't fair that some people have to work for all they get, but others get it handed to them by "Mommy and Daddy", amirite?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Life isn't fair, but what goes around tends to go around. Those who learn the values of work can make it in this world. Even those who will never have to work, they will also never mature in character.

And where did "Mommy and Daddy" get it? They did the work and can let their children reap the benefits if they so wish. If not them then their parents and so on, until you get to their great-great-great-......grandparents making enough money to last so many generations.

Life isn't fair.

So why did you disagree?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

He's saying it's fair or okay. That's not what the post is saying. When you disagree with a post, you click the No Way button.

Life isn't fair, and this situation isn't fair either.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Yes. That's why he disagreed.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

But the post said that it isn't fair as well.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

The post is like "It's not cool that people have to work even though others get stuff handed to them." and then grass hopper is like "Boo hoo. Suck it up. Life isn't fair, not everybody will get the same chance."

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Ok. I understand now. I actually agree with that.

Ok just to clear everything up I'm a girl

I know someone who got a new car handed to them, and every time they go out, their parents throw money at them. Never worked a day in their life. They're so spoiled and they justnexpect it.

Am i the only one who doesn't necessarily see people just getting things such a bad thing. So what if their parents just gave them a car if they have enough money and. want to give them a car then ho for it

by Anonymous 11 years ago

If you get handed everything, what happens when they get out into the real world, or mommy&daddy get into financial trouble? Then what? Granted, my parents make sure I have a car to drive when Thers one available, but they don't let me go out in the cadilac. I drive their car, that doesn't have power doors and I have roll down windows. But I have a car to drive, and it gets me from point a to b. the real world doesn't give handouts. That's the problem with people today, everyone wants to get rich quick and have things handed to them. Sure, fancy gifts are nice, but there's a point in between when you're starting to hurt them, when they won't realize the value of a dollar and won't get far in life because they'll think it's ridiculous when their boss asks something of them. You can help your kid buy a car if that's what they want, but just handing them the keys is irresponsible. Once you're older and your life is established, if you have the money to upgrade a car, by all means go for it. But there's no reason to give a 17 year old a brand new BMW convertible.

Anyone else get really annoyed when people talk say "real world" as if we're living in a fake pre world right now?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

"real world" as in out of the house, into having a job.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's completely fair. Not everyone can be rich. If you had money or a car or whatever offered to you, you'd take it too.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

It's not fair, but that's just life. Not everyone is going to be privileged.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Meh. It isn't fair that some people have computers and enough food while others are literally starving to death. Deal with it.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Not only do they get the money, they also have a relative write their entrance essay so that she can be accepted to the stupid 6-week summer program and THEN make her parents pay for it ALL WHILE she goes and does expensive things that her parents pay for NONE OF WHICH SHE DESERVED BECAUSE SHE'S LAZY AND CHEATS HER WAY THROUGH LIFE. I mean, you're right. That's not fair.
