I dislike attention whores.

Just being Devil's Advocate but not all people who post depressing things on facebook are attention whores. this year a sophomore in my school committed suicide and throughout the year his facebook was full of depressing comments but no one payed attention until it was too late. so while i agree that most of the times if someone posts that theyre depressed, theyre probably not. however sometimes, it can be a warning sign

Whenever someone says they're suicidal and are showing symptoms, pay attention anyway. You never really know a person, and you don't want to be the person who could've helped but didn't.
