I never like it when guys think girls should make the first move

MOST girls like it? I think every girl likes it when the guy she likes makes the first move.

Sure, but sometimes the guy you want to make the first move isn't actually interested in you (yet) and you'll either have to make the first move yourself or give up, your choice.

My two friends are dating (it's her first relationship, but he's dated multiple girls), and he refuses to make any sort of first move. Ever. When they first started going out, he wouldn't hold her hand or kiss her or whatever. He said to me "I'm not going to make the first move, I'm a guy and I hate that we're supposed to make the first move," and I just about slapped him. Girls will be generally over thinking things at the beginning.
