+389 If we wanted our alarm clocks to actually get us out of bed we would put them across the room - not within reach of the snooze button, amirite?

I would just end up sleeping through it.

That's what I do y

That's too far for me. Sloth can be its own snooze button.

Mine is across the room, I get up and hit the snooze and go back to bed

I do that too. It worked for a while but eventually it got to the point where I basically sleep-walk to the alarm, turn it off, and then go back to bed.

It doesn't work. I have a loft bed, so it's on one side of the room, and my alarm clock is on my dresser on the other side of the room. Every morning, I get up, go down the ladder, walk across my room, press snooze, and go back to sleep without really even opening my eyes.

I do that when I have exams.

I've tried it but it just ended up pissing me off,

guilty as charged. mine's all the way across the room and I still get up just to reset it and go back to sleep. :)

I have mine across the room. I get up, turn it off, and go back to sleep for ten minutes.

Same here - 3 separate alarms all over the room, all set within 5 minutes of each other, I still go back to bed. I used to have one next to my bed, but then I unplugged it in my sleep.........oops. :-)

I do that but I still get up and turn it off, it got so difficult to wake up that at one point I had to put my phone on vibrate in a metal lunchbox filled with coins as far away from me as possible.
