+397 Christians: A person should be able to go to church at their own free will and not be pressured into feeling guilty every time they decide not to go, amirite?

If that's the singular form, then what's the plural?

i think a person should only feel guilty about it if they thought they should have gone or really wanted to, not because of how others might judge them for not going

Christianity is the death of Christianity? Isn't suicide a sin?

I prefer praising God from home. When I pray, etc., it is a very emotional experience for me. One I'd rather not share in public.

I've decided that the best way for me to "worship" is to simply live my life and experience everything I can to continue opening my mind to different views.

This is the reason I don't try to pressure people because my chirch wants you to ask people to come there but I feel like it would be wrong to force or pressure someone into it so I say ''Do you want to come to my church''. That reminds me of this ones time I asked my friend to church and he said he was Hindu

Going to church isn't required or necessary to be saved so it isn't a big deal at all...that's dumb.

Precisely, no where in the Bible does it say that you must go to church. It does, however, say that going to church can strengthen your faith and fellowshiping with other believers is beneficial to your spiritual life. But, it is not a requirement.

Jesus spokee very highly about the church even called it his bride. He never said that it was an requirement for being save but he said it wa benificial. The church is not a building though it is the people that are christians and once you get saved you are a pary of the church. It is our duty as christians to watch out and take care of the church. That is why we should not guilt people into going to xhurch but rather encourage them into going to church

Praying is also very important the bible says we should pray in all situations in everything. Reading God's word is also important for someones christiab walk. In hebrews it says that it is a double edge sword. In psalms it says that we should keep it in our heart so that we may not sin against God.

In my opinion, church is an aid in your worship. But you have the right to worship however, whenever, wherever you want to and no one has the right to make you feel guilty or uncomfortable about such a personal choice.

At my church, we call rare worshipers "CEO"s as in, "Christmas and Easter Only" lol
