+193 Spanish bees go buthththththth, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Wouldn't that be bees with a studder or lisp?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

In Spanish, 'z' makes the 'th' sound.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

in Spanish, well actually mostly in Spain, the 'z' is sometimes pronounced 'th', making diez sound like 'dee-eth'. happens with the 'c' sometimes too, like in hacer, which would then become 'ath-er'

Ohh. I never learned that. Stupid pointless prep school. ono

by Anonymous 12 years ago

haha i never really learned it either but ive had 3 spanish teachers who have done it and one who didnt, and the 3 that did were all from spain, so i kinda figured it out.

(brunetterox915):Its not usually said with just a "th" sound, though. "dieth" sounds stupid

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"Dieth" does, diez sounds awesome.

They sound like "Mith pantaloneth estan en el ethcuela"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

El gato ethta en mith pantaloneth.

No. S's are pronounced the same as English S's. Only people from Cádiz pronounce S's like you said.

Ooh. My class was watching a video in Spanish, and all the people in there were from Spain and they all had lisps. So I suppose they were from there, then.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yup, the Spanish sound like that. Not all spanish-speakers. I think it's kind of cool.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I didn't get this at first bc I speak spanish. But I do know that about the Spanish (Spain) dialect lol. Confusing.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Whenever I'm listening to my mum's Spanish music in the car, it sounds like they've got such a huge lisp, because our family is from El Salvador, and it's just...odd.
