+93 It sucks when you wake up and your leg's asleep, amirite?

That's happened to me once I think...unpleasant.

*whispers* legs. Not "leg's."

*whispers* legs', not legs, could be leg's

by Anonymous 14 years ago

Except "and your leg is asleep" makes perfect sense.

Hmmm, I didn't think about it that way- it just looks like Her_Majesty made it possessive. But I see what you're saying.

If she had said "and your leg's are asleep" then you would have been absolutely correct. It makes me cringe when people use apostrophes to pluralize.

Same here. It's like an obsession of mine- I point out those mistakes everywhere, like on signs. At a nearby CVS, it says, "we sell book's of stamps," and at a pizza place there is a sign above the menu box called "MENU'S." Ugh.

Make it even better type when your leg is asleep.

Usually it's my arm that falls asleep, and I find it fun because it's like you're not in control of your body anymore and you just kinda flail around.

I like when my leg is asleep, it feels cool.

Better take care of that a cold leg that is asleep can be dangerous.

And even worse when that leg falls off the bed , threatening to pull you out onto the floor.
