+256 HGTV is for Canadian home renovations; History Channel is for interesting but often useless facts; Bravo is for rich people making fools of themselves; and the golf channel is for curing insomnia, amirite?

why canadian home renovations

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Because their igloos often melt in the Summer.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

because they always say 'aboot' 'owt' and 'eh', especially on Sarah's Hoose (house, but that's how they pronounce it.) plus they spell they spel stuff like color the british/canadian way-colour.

well i'm canadian and i think it's a false stereotype that people actually say hoose they really only talk that way in the maritimes

by Anonymous 12 years ago

well sorry for offending you. the credits of most of their show say stuff like "canada productions" or 'filmed in ontario' or quebec or manitobe or british columbia or prince edward island or whatever.

And TLC is for midgets with multiple triplets that have eating disorders but also somehow baking cakes.

I'm not defending TLC; but it is "The Learning Channel" (I think) and, believe it or not, you //can// learn about the day-to-day lives of midgets and their triplets... //and// baking cakes. I suppose it's to "put yourself in other people's shoes".
