+196 It's a really tough decision when choosing what to go to college for. Considering you don't know what the economy will be like, or which jobs will be in demand by the time you graduate. Amirite?

I know this will probably sound a bit naive, but I don't care what the economy will be like or what majors will be in demand. I'm sticking with my intended major because I love it. :)

I'm about to enter my 3rd year, and I have no clue still, I feel like I'm wasting a lot of money. The only passion I seem to have is pretty much an unreachable profession for me.

Whats your passion?

Well, I love music, and can play some instruments, but I'm not that good. I'd love to be a sound engineer or something so I can be part of making music.

You can also learn a lot of that on your own. Just get Logic and a keyboard and start experimenting. As a performing musician, most of my knowledge has come from experience or talking with others in the industry rather than a degree program.

As long as it's not any kind of literature, I think you're good.
