-382 Everyone should be on the same time zone and the same sleep schedule regardless of if it's day or night, this would make it so much easier, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Sleep in the day? yeah I don't think so.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

people from the US would have normal sleep times

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Dude, do you see why we all think it's think it's unrealistic?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

no because your gay

by Anonymous 12 years ago

ono

by Anonymous 12 years ago

how do you do that

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What? The 4% or so of the worlds population that the US is gets to have normal sleeping times?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That would make life harder, even if you were in the U.S.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

no it wouldnt because everyone would be awake at the same time are you stupid

by Anonymous 12 years ago

U mad?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

-People work better when they are awake when the sun is out -We would waste a lot of energy leaving lights on -People without electricity need the sun for light -It's pretty hard to farm and hunt at night -The only upside to this is that if you needed to talk to someone who is living somewhere else they would already be awake, but it's not that hard to just call early in the morning or late at night. International businesses are already fine with the different time zones. We don't need to have one big time zone. -People in the U.S. wouldn't be able to get a lot of resources because we import everything, and if the places we import from can only work at night then they won't be very productive. -People in other countries would get mad at Americans for having a normal sleep schedule. This is an interesting post by itself but I think that you shouldn't be calling people stupid for disagreeing.

people would be awake at night, and having lights turned on the whole day just so you can see is pretty wasteful. there are a lot of other downsides, just stating the most obvious one.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Stupid Earth, how dare you be so big that we can't do this!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think it could work. But not the whole sleep thing. How about if the time is the same everywhere, but you just go to sleep when its dark. So some would go at 2:30 pm and some at 3am

by Anonymous 12 years ago

No. That would not work.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That would work really well for poor people without electricity

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Except for the thing where our bodies work in accordance with the sun (or lack thereof). But otherwise yeah, it's a fabulous idea! lolwut

by Anonymous 12 years ago

How come no one mentioned that even if the U.S.A. gets normal sleeping time, other countries will have to make massive changes to lifestyle.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol ok, and the one zone that gets to stay the same and have the sunlight in daytime is YOUR city, right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

no, eastern time

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Why?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

because

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You don't realize how hard this would be. Your body has an internal sense of time, it is terribly difficult to sleep during the daytime. I know, I worked nights for quite awhile. And how would we make the change.. "okay everybody stay up all night so you can sleep all day!" that wouldn't work. It's just a massive change that would require to much effort with to little benefits.
