+47 Teachers shouldn't ask the pupils to pick they're bits of paper etc off the floor for the cleaners. Its they're job, thats what theyr'e paid to do. amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Actually, believe it or not, teachers are payed to teach! Crazy right? THEIR job is not to clean up the messes of other people. And even if it was, would you start a fire and tell the firemen to earn their keep?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You read the post incorrectly. Who taught YOU how to read?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Actually, that makes perfect sense. She's saying that teachers aren't supposed to pick up crap that kids left around. However, it is (it's, not its) the janitor's job.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think the better question here is 'Who taught OP the difference between their and they're?'

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"floor for the cleaners" lol tard. and lol no I wouldn't start a fire on purpose just like I wouldn't throw garbage on the floor on purpose, but I would however not put out the fire I started on accident just like I also won't do the janitors job on purpose.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Fine, you can do what you want but I personally try to make their job easier by being a nice person and cleaning up my own shit.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Janitors clean floors and haul garabage. why should I give them one less thing to do? I'd be bored if people did my job for me.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Teachers are paid to teach, cleaners (the ones this post is talking about) are paid to clean. That's kinda rude though, you're giving them more work this way...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The paper is already there, unlike the fire.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Quit using "they're." It's wrong.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What a great idea! While we're at it, why don't we dump all of our dishes off our tables at restaraunts, or throw our garbage all over the streets? It's not our job to take care of it, anyway.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, it's the teachers' jobs!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You're interpreting this wrong.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Isn't the whole meaning behind the word 'interpretation' that it's the way an individual percieves something? It'd be kind of hard to tell someone that they're wrong in that sense.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They mean that the person is getting a different meaning from the post than the meaning the OP was trying to convey. So in that sense, it kinda is possible to interpret it wrong.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

*their *no etc. *their *that's *their *do,

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Heil Ram27.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, it's not like janitors are there for anything.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They're overworked, underpaid and not appreciated. Help them, how much effort does it really take?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Overworked? The janitors at my school stand around and do nothing for eight hours.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

They don't get off work until 8 pm so more like 16. Well, that's dependent on your school district.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

OR you could just not be a shithead and pick up after the things you spilled yourself. It's not like teachers ask you to pick up other people's leftovers, just your own. But then people like you come along and people like myself have to pickup after you.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My teachers ask people to pick up other people's paper/rubbish. Even if it was from the class that was in that room last, they'll still sometimes ask us.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well then do it because you're nice

by Anonymous 12 years ago

lol "rubbish".

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Actually guys, the people who clean the school have to clean the WHOLE SCHOOL. So imagine if you were in their position and you had to sweep everything, clean the bathrooms, push chairs in, all that shit, and then you saw all this shit on the ground that people could easily have picked up. I'd be annoyed.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Teachers should teach us how to be a good person too, and part of that is learning how to clean up after yourself and be mindful of others. If you made the mess you should clean it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The errors in this post made it very difficult to understand, but I finally got it.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

If your class has been working on a project or whatever and there's a bigger mess than usual, it's only fair for you to pick your crap up off the floor. But if it's just an average day and the stuff on the floor is so small it could only be picked up by tweezers, there's really no point.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's called courtesy

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You don't have to make their jobs harder

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This is what the post is saying: Teachers shouldn't ask the pupils to pick they are bits of paper et cetera off the floor for the cleaners. Its they are (the "they are" belonging to it) job, thats what (the what belonging to that) they are paid to do. amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think you should focus more on what your teacher says during grammar class...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, it is they are job.
